Abigail Klausner, MA
Licensed Mental Health Counselor- LPC

Everyone experiences the world in their own unique way. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.

I earned my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from NYU. During my training, I provided therapy to adolescents with complex mental health needs from underserved communities. Prior to becoming a clinician, I worked extensively with teenagers and young adults with special needs and neurodivergence, an experience that continues to shape my passion for supporting these populations.

I have experience working with individuals facing ASD, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, substance use concerns, depression, and anxiety. I tailor treatment to each person's unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. My work is grounded in culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors each client's background, strengths, and lived experiences.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, neurodivergence, trauma, or relationship challenges, I look forward to helping you build insight, resilience, and lasting change.
